Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan's upcoming movie Radhe has been delayed by a year and the actor decided not to wait. The actor announced that Radhe would head for a theatrical and digital release this weekend. He apologized saying that the theatrical revenue for the film will be zero because of the pandemic. With the second wave of coronavirus gripping the nation, most of the Indian states headed for lockdown and the theatres are shut entirely. A special premiere screening of Radhe is planned in Dubai and the film is getting a decent release across the major international markets.
When it comes to India, Radhe is just releasing in three theatres. The film will release in three screens of SSR Cinemas, Tripura. The state imposed a night curfew and all the shows should complete before 9 PM. No other state is screening Radhe except Tripura. Several Bollywood filmmakers are eagerly waiting for the digital release of Radhe to check out the pay-per-view revenue of the film. If Radhe does well on pay-per-view basis, there would be several releases in the upcoming months as the theatres will not reopen anytime soon.
Radhe is directed by Prabhudeva and is produced by Salman Khan, Sohail Khan along with Zee Studios. Disha Patani is the leading lady.
