Hundreds of sex videos between a senior official in Equatorial Guinea and other men's wives have surfaced on social media and authorities are trying to prevent their release. In the video, Baltasar Ebang Engonga, the married head of the National Financial Investigation Agency (ANIF), is seen red-handed in a Treasury office with various associates, including the wife of a prominent bureaucrat. On Monday, the country's vice president, Teodoro Nguema Obiangmang, communicated my order, he explained. and public order laws. This is not the first time an officer's sex tape has been leaked on social media.

However, the notoriety of the officers involved in this incident reached unprecedented levels. Obiang said last week he had given Equatorial Guinea's communications ministry, regulators and telephone companies 24 hours to "restrict the distribution of obscene videos flooding social media in Equatorial Guinea." The Vice President for Defense and Security said: As a government, we cannot continue to witness the destruction of families. According to reports, first posted by a WhatsApp group and later shared on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X, Ngonga filmed more than 400 pornographic videos in his office. Ivan Ngunga, nicknamed “Blue” because of his good looks, is a married father and the son of Balthasar Ngunga Eju, the current chairman of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community Commission.

He is also related to the veteran president of this country. State broadcaster TVGE said the sex video was leaked on social media while he was being held at the notorious Black Beach Prison in Malabo on charges of embezzling public funds. Equatorial Guinea's chief prosecutor Anatolio Nzan Djema assured TVGE that Ivan Ngunga would be prosecuted for violating "public health" if a medical examination revealed that Baltasar Ebang Engonga was "infected with a sexually transmitted disease." Witnesses told AFP that internet traffic in the country, particularly image downloads, had been significantly affected since authorities took measures to prevent the publication of sex videos. Social media is abuzz with speculation that more videos featuring other people, both men and women, could be released in the coming days.
