US President to Inaugurate the World’s Largest cricket Stadium in Gujarat during his India visit

The President of the United States will be inaugurating the world’s biggest cricket stadium when he arrives at Ahmedabad in Gujarat during his visit to India. Ahmedabad is said to be the home base of the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.
The United States President would be inaugurating the stadium on Monday which would be the start of his visit to India for two days. The visit is said to be aiming at smoothing ties that are strained by the trade disputes.
This trip to the world’s largest democracy by the US President Donald Trump is said to be his first official trip to India and he is also expected to pay a visit to the humble abode of the father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi in Ahmedabad.
It has been observed that the leaders of China, Japan and Israel have made a visit to Ahmedabad in Gujarat since Modi has become the Prime Minister of India as it is said to be the biggest city in Gujarat and also the western state where Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made his mark as the chief minister prior to his party which is Bharatiya Janata Party sweeping to power in the year 2014.
The government of India is taking necessary measures to make the President of the United States feel comfortable in the country for which the government has ordered for a wall of 400 meters to be built along the route which Donald Trump would take in order to block his view of the slum where the poor people live.
It has been said that the authorities in Ahmedabad are expected to spend around 800 million to 850 million Indian rupees for the preparations regarding the visit that would be made by the president of the United States that would last for around three hours.
The sum is observed to be equivalent to around 1.5 per cent of the annual budget for the Home Ministry in the state of Gujarat.
The cost for providing security to the president Trump is said to be accounting for almost half of the expenses as more than 12,000 police officers are expected to be deployed, as said by an official.
Vijay Nehra who is the municipal commissioner of Ahmedabad and also the top civic officer of the city has said that the authorities had already spent around 300 million rupees which is said to be around $4.2 million for the widening of the roads and also to improve the infrastructure that surrounds the new cricket stadium in Ahmedabad.
The capacity of the Motera Stadium is said to be for 110,000 spectators which has been identified to dislodge the Melbourne Cricket Ground and would turn out to be the world’s largest cricket stadium.
Vijay Nehra has said that around 60 million rupees which is said to be about $840,000 will be spent for beautifying the city which includes erection of the wall that has been done to block the view of Donald Trump from witnessing the slum where the poor people live.
Ashok Brahmbhatt who is the secretary of the Gujarat Cricket Association and who is the owner of the world’s largest cricket stadium Motera Stadium has said that the stadium is set to be opened by the president of the United States Donald Trump and that tens of millions of rupees would be spent during the event.
