The US President Donald Trump and his top officials have started explanations regarding the question that they have been persistently confronted with about his military action attack on Qassem Soelimani, the military Commander General of Iran.

Trump has now contended that major attacks have been planned on four US embassies by Iranian militants.

Mike Pompeo, the Secretary of State has said that US had no idea of when and where the attacks might occur. Trump and his other officials have insisted anew that  US has been prone to imminent threat by the Iranian Gen.Qassem Soleimani.

Additional sanctions against Iran have been announced by Trump which he had promised after the missiles that have been fired by the Islamic state against American bases in Iraq earlier week.

An executive order has been issued by Trump at the White House where in he added additional US sanctions to the long list which he was imposed by his administration in an effort to force Iran to accept a new agreement which wold curb the nuclear program of Iran and to halt support for the Middle east militant groups.

The President Trump has justified his killing Qassem Soleimani as he declared that US was holding Iran responsible for the attacks against the united states and has also mention being a threat to the US service members, diplomats and civilians.

He said, “The United States will continue to counter the Iranian regime’s destructive and destabilizing behaviour.”

Pompeo was asked at a White house news conference on Friday what he exactly meant by imminent.

“I don’t know exactly which minute,” said Pompeo, “We don’t know exactly which day it would have been executed, but it was very clear. Qassem Soleimani himself was plotting a broad, large-scale attack against American interests and those attacks were imminent.”

Trump spoke amid revelations by UIS officials that American military had tried but failed in killing another senior Iranian commander on the day Soleimani was killed, Abdul Reza Shahlai being targeted was apparently a part of an effort to cripple the leadership of Iran’s Quds force where in a terror organization has been designated by the US along with the larger Islamic Revolutionary Guard Force.

Nanvy Pelosi, the house speaker addressed the killing of Soleimani being proactive and disproportionate where as other members said that they were unconvinced after a closed-door briefing on intelligence has done.
