Among the most beautiful aspects of Yoga is that it is easy to practice and convenient too. All you need is some empty space and a mat! People across all age groups can practice it.

The International Day of Yoga is celebrated every year on June 21 since its inception in 2015. The concept of the International Yoga Day was first proposed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his speech at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) on September 27, 2014.
PM Modi’s push towards yoga and awareness towards the plus points of yoga has been a personal project. Earlier, PM Modi had also posted a 3D instructional video of him doing yoga on Twitter.
On June 12, PM Modi tweeted a video of his animated version performing the 'Vakrasana' or the spinal twist yoga pose that he said helps spinal cord in gaining flexibility. Demonstrating 'Vakrasana', the animation took the gathering step by step through each detail and also explained the benefits.
PM Modi is likely to join an event in Ranchi this year.
