Hyderabad is returning to normalcy felt the Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy today after visiting the troubled area. The HM visited the Madannapet and Saidabad areas of the Old City in Hyderabad. She also visited the Charminar area. After having a meeting with the concerned officials monitoring the sensitive pockets, she spoke to the waiting media. She said security has been tightened and the situation is under control. Also adding that those involved in disturbing the otherwise peaceful city will be dealt severely.  About the grave incidents that occurred yesterday, the HM ascertained that the suspected were taken into control and cases were registered against them.  After preliminary enquiries the case will be transferred to the Special Investigating Agency, added the HM.

Trouble broke out around 7 AM today after locals reportedly found "meat" lying near a religious place in Kurumaguda that "provoked" members of a particular community, police said. RTC authorities suspended operation of city buses to Saidabad and surrounding localities after nearly 15 buses were damaged.
