The government of Andhra Pradesh has been strict on their stand and slashed down the ticket prices for movies in the state. There are raids conducted on several theatres and some among them are forced to be shut in the state. Some of the exhibitors voluntarily closed down the theatres after they are not in a mood to sell the ticket prices for such low prices. Considering the sudden rise in the new cases of coronavirus, the government of Andhra Pradesh today imposed new rules and restrictions for theatres. No other fields are closed to shut or there are no restrictions imposed on other public gatherings.
The theatres in Andhra Pradesh will have to operate with 50 percent occupancy in the state from tomorrow. The state government also imposed night curfews from 11 PM till 5 AM and the fourth show (second show) will not be screened from tomorrow. Movies like Bangarraju, Rowdy Boys and Hero are releasing this Sankranthi in theatres. The theatrical rights of Nagarjuna's Bangarraju are sold for record prices and the new restrictions will sure turn a dent for the theatrical revenes for the film.
