On Sunday April 1, a man along with his parents in Guntur district purposefully beat his six-month-old pregant wife with an iron rod on her stomach causing her to undergo an abortion.

According to the Police, the family is blinded with supernatural power and trust in a baba, concluded that she was pregnant with a girl child and for that reason they decided to remove the pregnancy.

The victim claims that this was her fifth pregnancy and there were two previous cases of forcible abortions.

The man named as Allabakshu who had already two daughters with his wife.A case has been filed against the husband and in-laws.
