Despite the news of the arrest of a psycho and his subsequent death in Guntur district, psycho attacks on women are continuing in the district.

A person, said to be a psycho, attacked a woman with blade this afternoon in Narsaraopet. The woman was immediately hospitalized by neighbors and on lookers. Reports said the psycho cut the throat of the woman with a blade and disappeared.

Police have rushed to the spot and launched man hunt for the culprit based on the information given by the victim.

Psycho attacks have become common in Guntur district in recent times with Tenali town women bearing the main onslaught. As many as five women were attacked by the psycho in the town in recent times. (J)
