The Central Bureau of investigation (CBI) is ready to file the supplementary charge-sheet on the YSR Congress Leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, today in the special CBI court at Nampally, Hyderabad. The Charge-sheets are in the disproportionate assets case against the YSRC leader. Sources reveal that the charge-sheet will list in substantial evidences on Jagan, gained from the interrogations. The CBI is supposed to have named Jagan as the first accused and Vijay Sai Reddy as the second in the league. This list is followed by 2 prominent officers, two companies and three others say sources. Earlier the CBI had filed a charge-sheet on them on Saturday which had created a flutter in the state.
Earlier on Saturday, CBI has named Jagan as the prime accused in the case.
The probe agency has also included the names of 12 others that include senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and politicians in the 68-page charge-sheet.
CBI is known to have informed the court that it had not much time to file the evidences against the accused and hence had to file this supplement, on Tuesday. It may be noted that the Andhra Pradesh High Court ordered a CBI probe into Jagan’s wealth on Aug 11, 2011 after Congress leader P Shankar Rao filed a written petition in Nov 2010 seeking it, terming his property as “ill-gotten”.
