In the early hours of the day in Satyanarayanapuram village of Charla Mandal, Narasimharajan was attacked by two unknown persons with knives. The lethal attack left the farmer bleeding. He was rushed to the hospital and is treated for critical injuries.

The miscreants escaped under cover of darkness. Natives say that the attack could be done by Maoists. But reasons are yet to be ascertained, as to why the assailants attacked the farmer.
