Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is on a break and he is more focused on his political activities. The elections in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled to take place next year and Pawan Kalyan took up Varahi yatra. He has kept the shoots of Hari Hara Veera Mallu, OG and Ustaad Bhagat Singh on hold. There are lot of rumors that he would resume the shoot of Ustaad Bhagat Singh and the film's director Harish Shankar is making the arragenements for the shoot.

Naveen Yerneni, one of the producers of Ustaad Bhagat Singh revealed that the film will hit the screens either for Sankranthi or summer next year. A clarity is expected basing up on the shoot of the film. If Pawan Kalyan allocates the dates and completes the shoot at the earliest, Ustaad Bhagat Singh will have a grand release for Sankranthi 2024. Sree Leela is the leading lady and Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music. Ustaad Bhagat Singh is the remake of Tamil film Theri. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers.
