Natural Star Nani needs a solid hit to bounce back in the race. His recent films failed to fare well at the theatrical windows. Shyam Singha Roy ended up as a decent hit but the film suffered due to the coronavirus and restrictions by the AP government on theatres. His last film Ante Sundaraniki ended up as a massive disaster and the actor has all his hopes on his next outing titled Dasara. The film is named as the costliest film in Nani's career. Sukumar's protege Srikanth is making his debut as director with this action entertainer that also has an emotional love story. The film is set in the backdrop of Telangana and a massive set is constructed in seven acres in Hyderabad. Most of the film's shoot took place in this set.

The last schedule of Dasara will start from December 16th and the climax episodes will be shot in this episode. Keerthy Suresh is the heroine and the entire shoot will be completed by the end of this month. Santosh Narayanan is the music director and Sathyan Sooran is the cinematographer. Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas is producing Dasara and the film is announced for March 30th, 2023 release. Nani's look and the teaser gained an exceptional response from the audience. Nani is super confident on the film and he will start shooting for his next film in January 2023.
