Megastar Chiranjeevi tasted a massive flop with Acharya. The film left everyone in huge losses. Chiranjeevi will test his luck for the second time this year with God Father and the film is the remake of the Malayalam blockbuster film Lucifer. Tamil director Mohan Raja is the director an the shooting portions of the film are completed. The promotional activities of God Father will start tomorrow. The makers closed the digital rights of God Father recently and Netflix acquired the digital rights of Hindi and Telugu for a record of Rs 57 crores.

Bollywood Superstar Salman Khan will be seen in an important role in God Father. The film is carrying good expectations and Nayanthara, Satyadev, and Samuthirakani will be seen in other important roles. Thaman is the music director and Konidela Production Company, Mega Super Good Films are the producers. God Father is heading for a record release on October 5th. Two big pre-release events of God Father are planned in Anantapur and Mumbai. The trailer of God Father will be out on September 24th. Chiranjeevi is currently shooting for Waltair Veerayya directed by Bobby.
