Nani's recent offering Ante Sundaraniki released yesterday and the response has been decent. The lengthy runtime is the only complaint from the audience and there is a discussion that more than 20 minutes of the film can be trimmed. The makers after watching the film suggested a cut of 20 minutes for the final version. Nani after watching the final version suggested no cuts. He even revealed the same during the promotional interviews of the film. The makers tried hard to convince Nani but the actor was strict on his stand.
The runtime is now a barrier for Ante Sundaraniki. Some of the audience felt that the film is dragged and boring at times. For a genre of rom-com, the ideal runtime would be less than two and a half hours. The distributors asked the producers to trim down the final version of the film. But this would make no difference after the film's release. Ante Sundaraniki should stay strong and do decent business on weekdays to recover the investments. Vivek Athreya directed Ante Sundaraniki and Nani, Nazriya played the lead roles.
