Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's recent offering Bheemla Nayak is a smashing box-office hit and the film had a stupendous first weekend all over the globe. The film ran with packed houses and is racing towards the biggest hit in Pawan Kalyan's career. Bheemla Nayak collected a theatrical share of Rs 70 crores worldwide in its first weekend. The theatrical rights are valued at Rs 108 crores and the distributors are expected to recover their investments by the end of first week. The restriction of ticket pricing in Andhra Pradesh turned out to be a barrier but the distributors will end up in safe mode.
The film crossed the magical 2 million USD mark in USA and is in profits in the territory. Bheemla Nayak is a mass action drama with emotional content and is the remake of Malayalam blockbuster film Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Saagar Chandra directed Bheemla Nayak and Pawan Kalyan, Rana Daggubati, Nithya Menen, Murali Sharma and Samuthirakani played the lead roles. Sithara Entertainments pooled the funds and Thaman scored the music. Pawan Kalyan's roaring performance is the major asset for Bheemla Nayak.
