King Nagarjuna is running low in his career after his recent films bombed badly at the box-office. The actor's next film is titled Wild Dog and is a different attempt that is high on action and thrilling drama. Nagarjuna plays the role of an NIA officer leading a team on a secret mission. Successful writer Solomon is making his directorial debut with Wild Dog and the shooting parts of the film got completed by December. Dia Mirza played Nagarjuna's wife in Wild Dog and Saiyami Kher, Atul Kulkarni, Ali Reza will be seen in other important roles.

The makers initially sold the rights for Netflix and they decided to head for a digital release. But Nag had a change of plans and Wild Dog is releasing in theatres on April 2nd across the world. The entire movie unit met the press to interact about the film and Nagarjuna announced the release date poster of Wild Dog. Matinee Entertainment are the producers of Wild Dog. The film is made on a budget of Rs 30 crores and the film will have a Netflix release after the theatrical release. The trailer of Wild Dog will be unveiled on March 10th in a grand manner.
