Akkineni Nagarjuna will face an acid test with The Ghost. The actor has not tasted a success in the recent times. All his films failed badly at the box-office and the actor is pretty confident on his next film The Ghost. The film is an action-packed stylish thriller and Nagarjuna essays the role of an Interpol officer. Praveen Sattaru directed the film and Nagarjuna, Sonal Chauhan played the lead roles. The Ghost is made on a budget of Rs 20 crores and the makers recovered Rs 22 crores through the non-theatrical rights of the film. The Ghost is releasing on an advance basis and if the film ends up as a hit, the makers will make decent profits.

The film is quite sound technically and it is heading for a grand release on October 5th in record number of screens in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages.
