Handsome hunk Rana Daggubati is a known face in all the languages and the actor has been picking up challenging roles in his career. His latest outing Ghazi marks the first submarine war drama in the history of Indian cinema. Directed by Sankalp, the movie reveals about the 1971 under water war between India and Pakistan. Kay Kay Menon, Tapsee Pannu, Om Puri, Atul Kulkarni played the other lead roles in the movie which released all over in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages.
Ghazi received exceptional response from the audience and the Telugu collections have been remarkable. The movie minted Rs 4.25 crores across the country which includes all the versions. The Hindi version of the movie made Rs 1.65 crores and the movie is expected to take a huge leap on Saturday and Sunday. Prasad V Potluri and Matinee Entertainments bankrolled Ghazi which has been made on a massive budget.
