Mega Prince Varuntej has come up with his second movie Kanche and the film has been directed by Krish who directed realistic films like Gamyam, Vedam and Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum in the past. Kanche released during Dasara on October 22nd and the movie collected decent figures all over. The movie has impressed the multiplex audience completely and the collections have been phenomenal. Kanche collected Rs 28.5 crores in the first weekend across the world taking the advantage of the holiday season.

The makers have been surprised with the response in the territories in USA as Kanche crossed Rs 3 crore mark in 4 days within the limited screen count. Pragya Jaiswal played the female lead in the movie and Chirantan Bhatt composed the music. The movie has been set in the backdrop of pre independence era and the episodes of the Second World War are said to be the major highlights of the movie. Rajeev Reddy and Sai Babu Jagarlamudi produced Kanche on First Frame Entertainments banner. Kanche is expected to collect decent figures in the final run and the buyers will enter the safe zone by the end of first week.
