Nagarjuna says he will fight with his director to get the desired quality output for a film. He said that he will never compromise on quality for his films and that's how other film makers should behave too.
Speaking on why so many films are failing at the box office in recent times, Nagarjuna expressed that most filmmakers do not do their homework before a shoot and not let others also do theirs. He noted that he would never go to a shoot without a ready script, expressing that many films suffer because of the last minute planning of directors.
“When a song is sent to the choreographer a day before the shoot, the steps will not be ready and the sets will not match the costumes,” he revealed. Quality is compromised because of this attitude, Nag said, adding that it would be nice if all the technicians involved sit down and make a plan.
He also advised the government to take piracy eradication seriously. He pointed out that the government is also losing out on entertainment tax as the viewers are not watching films in theaters, preferring instead to watch pirated CDs at home. “The government is losing employment because of it and it can even earn more than liquor sales if something is done,” Nagarjuna expressed.
Nagarjuna, who has Bhai release coming up, is rumored to have plans to be a big part of politics next year. He may actively back the YSRCP party during the 2014 elections
