Analysis
Meda Meeda Abbayi has an interesting plot but what goes wrong is the execution. The film starts on a positive note and it continues to be passable because of the fresh entertainment. However the film turns boring because of the dragged episodes. The songs have been completely disappointing and the interval episodes look decent. On the whole the first half of Meda Meeda Abbayi offers nothing and it looks passable because of the entertainment.
The second half of Meda Meeda Abbayi falls flat because of the poor narration. The movie has been completely predictable and deviates from the main plot. Allari Naresh’s comic timing has been kept aside though he has been decent in the emotional episodes. The pre-climax episodes dip down completely and the audience find it tough to watch the film. Meda Meeda Abbayi ends on a predictable note and the second half of the film fails to make any impact.
Performance
Allari Naresh who proved his mettle in Tollywood has been completely impressive with his performance throughout. He has been away from comedy spoofs and performed well in the emotional episodes. Debutant Nikhila Vimal has been impressive with her role and she performed well. Srinivas Avasarala has been decent in the supporting role and Hyper Aadi, Satyam Rajesh managed to entertain the audience. All the other actors turned impressive.
The story of Meda Meeda Abbayi sounds decent and the director did not make enough changes for the film. The screenplay looked poor and the dialogues have been impressive. The songs and the background score lack freshness. The cinematography looks decent and the production values have been grand. The editing has been good but the director fails to make much impact with the film.
Final Word
Meda Meeda Abbayi makes no impact and it tumbles down because of the poor second half. Allari Naresh has been decent but the film falls flat.
