Apple unveiled several innovative features for the iPhone during the iOS 18 presentation at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in 2024. Users will also have the ability to navigate through multiple pages by swiping to access even more controls and toggles. Interestingly, Apple introduced a more convenient way to power off the iPhone, which was not initially showcased. The iOS 18 Developer Beta 1 incorporates this new feature in the Control Centre. Instead of the previous method of pressing and holding the Volume Down and Power buttons, followed by swiping the slider, the updated Control Centre now includes a dedicated power button that allows users to quickly turn off the device. This shortcut can be easily accessed by swiping down to open the Control Centre and then tapping on the new power button, which will then display the slider for turning off the iPhone.
