Invisible Mercedes

Well this Mercedes shall make your presence felt, with the vanishing act. While this could be a technology marvel, netizens feel this could raise the number of accidents.

Mercedes unleashes a Technology marvel, by unveiling its latest F-Cell car. The F-Cell car was made to disappear using optical camouflage technology boffins. The manufacturer created the illusion that their new zero emissions F-Cell car vanished instantly. The car was covered from the driver's side of the car in mats of LEDs, and mounted a digital SLR camera on the opposite side of the vehicle; this gave a see through effect. The camera shoots video of the image on the passenger side and relays the same on the driver side. The effect and the technology used to make the car vanish was similar to the one used in the science fiction films shot in Hollywood.

In Mercedes' promotional video, stupefied Muggles stare and fall about in shock as the team put the car through its paces along the highways of Hamburg and the bridges of Bavaria. Have a look for yourself as to know how people reacted to the technology marvel machine.

This is a hydrogen car, which could cruise to up to 250 miles using an electric engine equivalent to 134 horsepower. While the production of Hydrogen has been minimized, the technocrats are yet to find ways to minimize its manufacturing costs. But the best cost viable models may arrive sooner or later as the technology is being harnessed at a war footing. Analysts feel that by 2015, US will have more of these vehicles, on road, as commercial fuel stations will come up. (With inputs from internet: AarKay)
