Lenovo has been touting the concept of a foldable laptop for years, and now it looks like a retail copy may finally be unveiled. According to a reliable insider, the Chinese company is preparing to unveil the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus at the 2025 Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which begins on January 7 in Las Vegas. It is expected to be the world's first retail laptop with a rollable display. The latest leak from tipster Evan Blass hints at the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus release schedule and some shots of the device. It's largely based on a concept that was first introduced in October 2022 and unveiled at the 2023 Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The screen of the offered device can be slid up vertically to create more space underneath. The tipster didn't reveal the specifications of the Lenovo ThinkBook Plus, but leaked images suggest it will support artificial intelligence (AI) features and have a dedicated co-pilot button. The rest of the design is similar to existing Lenovo laptops, with the ThinkBook logo on the back.
The images also show some possible uses of the scroll screen. The user can watch YouTube content and work at the same time. This is in line with the company's ambitions, which were outlined by Luca Rossi, head of Lenovo's smart devices business, at the Lenovo Technology World Conference 2022. At the time, the executive said foldable laptops would "bring multitasking, web browsing and mobile apps to others." State. I think form innovation is a very dynamic place and you'll continue to see innovation from Lenovo here. Now it looks like the company is gearing up to unveil it at the world's biggest tech show next month.
