The Nubia Z70 Ultra will go on sale in China next week, the brand announced on its official social media page. The ZTE subsidiary has officially revealed the phone's front design for the first time. The Nubia Z70 Ultra features a 6.85-inch BOE display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a high screen-to-body ratio of 95.3 percent. The Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC has already been confirmed to ship. Nubia announced the launch of the Nubia Z70 Ultra on November 21 at 2:00 PM (11:30 IST) via its official Weibo account. The brand shared an image of the smartphone on the microblog, showing off the thin bezel design on the front. The selfie camera display has no notch or hole punch. The Nubia Z70 Ultra is proven to feature a 6.85-inch 1.5K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 95.3 percent screen-to-body ratio. The BOE-made display is said to offer a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits and a pixel density of 430 pixels per inch. It is said to have a thin bezel of 1.25mm. It will include an under-display camera that uses transparent AI 7.0 algorithm.
Nubia has previously confirmed that the upcoming Z70 Ultra will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. The Nubia Nebula will also be equipped with AIOS and will come with updates compared to last year's Nubia Z60 Ultra. To recall, the Nubia Z60 Ultra was launched last December at a starting price of $599 (roughly Rs. 49,000) for the base model with 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage. It sports a 6.8-inch Full HD+ AMOLED (1116 x 2480 pixels) display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM. In terms of optics, the Nubia Z60 Ultra has three rear cameras that include a 50-megapixel 35mm Sony IMX800 sensor, a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and a 64-megapixel telephoto lens. It has a 12-megapixel under-display selfie camera and a 6,000 mAh battery.
