The Google Pixel 9 series will launch in India on August 14. The highlight of this series is the high-end smartphone Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Especially since this will be Google's first foldable device to launch in India. The official teaser released on X doesn't reveal much about the device, but several rumors and leaks have surfaced online. An official teaser has confirmed that the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold will be fully integrated with Google's Gemini AI. Details about the back will also be announced. Let's take a look at everything we know about the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold so far. The official teaser shows a stunning design with a pill-shaped dual camera notch. The camera is located in a rectangular island in the upper left corner of the back wall. The external display has a hole-punch camera in the middle of the top and the frame size also remains the same. The frame and hinge of the Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold have a metallic look, but the back may be made of plastic. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold hinge appears to have a new design that's more reminiscent of the OnePlus Open than its predecessor. The company also confirmed that its next device will be heavily integrated with Google's artificial intelligence, Gemini. It's worth noting that the release of Google's AI-integrated phones precedes Apple's iPhone 16 series, which is expected to come with Apple Intelligence.

The teaser doesn't reveal the internal in-display camera, but rumors suggest the phone will have a punch-hole camera on the left side of the display, which could be a design upgrade over the frame-mounted camera. By reducing the bezel size, this new device is expected to have a much larger screen compared to the previous Google Fold. The internal display appears to be 8 inches diagonal, an upgrade over the first 7.4-inch foldable model. The resolution of this new display is 2152 x 2076, the maximum brightness is 1600 nits, and it supports a 120 Hz refresh rate. The first Google Fold had a dim 1000 nit display. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold is said to be slimmer and lighter than the original Pixel Fold. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold, the successor to the original Pixel Fold, may be available in Obsidian and Porcelain colors. The foldable device is expected to be priced at 1,899 euros (approximately Rs 1,68,900) for the 256GB model and 2,029 euros (approximately Rs 1,80,500) for the 512GB model.
