India's badminton stars Saina Nehwal and Parupalli Kashyap tied the knot in a private ceremony in Hyderabad on Friday.
The wedding took place at Saina's residence in Orion villas at Raidurgam in Cyberabad.
"It was a small gathering of about 40 guests, including relatives of the Saina and Kashyap's families. It was a very simple ceremony and December 16th will be the reception," Saina's father Harvir Singh said.

Saina and Kashyap have been in a relationship for the past decade now yet successfully managed to keep it under wraps.
The 2014 CWG gold medallist, Saina and Kashyap, first met at the Pullela Gopichand badminton academy where they have been training since 2005.
Earlier this year, Saina was seen partying with Kashyap along with other teammates ahead of the third season of Premier Badminton League (PBL). They were also teammates at Awadhe Warriors.
Saina has been in good form this season after fighting knee injury which has been troubling her for the past couple of years.
The Hyderabad athlete reached the final of Indonesia Masters at the start of the year and then followed it up with a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast after beating compatriot PV Sindhu in the final.
Earlier this year, Saina settled for the bronze medal in the Asian Games in the women's singles after losing to world No.1 Tai Tzu Ying of Taiwan. It was her opening medal at the Asiad and the first singles medals at the Games for India in 36 years before PV Sindhu bagged a silver.
After clinching the bronze medal, Saina had included Kashyap's name in her thank you note on Twitter along with coach Gopichand and her physios.
"I would like to thank Gopi Sir for all the hardwork and support ... also @parupallik for giving me great match inputs and for helping me in sessions before the #AsianGame2018 ... lot of efforts of Physios would like to thank @ArvindDNigam4 and Kiran challagundla sir," Saina wrote on Twitter.
The duo was as well spotted together at the Denmark Open in October where Kashyap gave some on-court coaching tips to Saina.
