The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is anticipated to hit the international market in April, following its recent presentation at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2025). A source has leaked information regarding the smartphone's display dimensions, weight, and expected pricing. It is said that the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite processor and will feature a smaller battery compared to the Samsung Galaxy S25+ launched in January. According to a post by the tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) on X (previously known as Twitter), the Galaxy S25 Edge’s pricing will be similar to that of the Galaxy S25+ and will also align with the standard and premium Ultra models introduced earlier this year. If this information holds true, the Galaxy S25 Edge could be priced around $999, which is approximately Rs. 87,150.

Moreover, Ice Universe revealed that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will come with a 6.65-inch display, closely resembling the 6.7-inch screen found in the S25+ model. However, the Edge variant will have slimmer bezels akin to those of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, according to the same tipster. The post further discusses the device's dimensions and weight, noting that the Galaxy S25 Edge is expected to measure 5.84mm in thickness, which is 1.46mm thinner than the Galaxy S25+.

In terms of weight, the Galaxy S25 Edge is forecasted to weigh 162 grams, making it lighter than the Plus variant, which weighs 195 grams. Notably, the upcoming Edge model is set to feature a smaller battery than the Galaxy S25+, as well as a dual rear camera setup instead of the triple cameras found on the Plus. Apart from these differences, it is predicted that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will have specifications similar to the Galaxy S25+, including the custom Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and 12GB of RAM. The device is also expected to run One UI 7, built on Android 15.

In a recent discussion with TechRadar, Annika Bizon, Samsung MX's Vice President of Product and Marketing for the UK, stated that the sleek design of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge will not compromise its durability. While she did not provide further information on how the company plans to ensure the phone's sturdiness, there are recent indications that the device might incorporate a ceramic material on its rear panel in place of glass.
