Team India opened with a bang in the T20 World Cup in their first match against Pakistan. Though the team was defeated against South Africa. Soon, the team bounced back and Team India is now officially confirmed for the semi-finals in the T20 World Cup 2022. India played their recent match against Zimbabwe and India reported a victory of 71 runs. India won the toss and elected to bat first. Team India scored 186 for the loss of 5 wickets in their 20 overs. Suryakumar Yadav (61 not out), KL Rahul (51) and Virat Kohli (26) are the top scorers for the side. Sean Williams (2/9), Sikandar Raza (1/18) and Richard Ngarava (1/44) took the wickets among the bowlers of Zimbabwe. Chasing a huge target, Zimbabwe went all out for 115 runs in 17.2 overs.

Ryan Burl (35), Sikandar Raza (34) are the top scorers among the batsmen of Zimbabwe. Ravichandran Ashwin (3/22), Mohammed Shami (2/14) and Hardik Pandya (2/16) took the wickets among the Indian bowlers. India will now enter the semi-finals officially and the team will play with England in the semi final. The match takes place on November 10th. The other semi-final match will take place between Pakistan and New Zealand on November 9th. The final of the T20 World Cup 2022 will take place on November 13th. Team India is one among the favorites of the season.
