Indian fast pacer Jasprit Bumrah who is in terrific form and he has been injured at the right time before the T20 World Cup 2022. Mohammed Siraj replaced Jasprit Bumrah for the remaining two T20s against South Africa. Bumrah is suffering with back stress fracture. The All-India Senior Selection Committee met and discussed about the replacemnt of Bumrah and finalized Mohammed Siraj. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah issued an official statement about the same. The BCCI Medical Team is supervising the injury of Jasprit Bumrah. Mohammed Siraj is a right-arm pace bowler and he played five T20s in his career and picked up five wickets. Mohammed Siraj played his last T20 match against Sri Lanka in Dharmashala early this year.

Team India is leading the T20 series by 1-0 and the second match will take place on Sunday and the final T20 match will take place on Tuesday. Team India already reached Guwahati for the second T20 and the final match would take place in Indore. The T20 World Cup will commence in October.
