Delhi Capitals previously called as Delhi Daredevils have roped in Former Indian Captain Sourav Gandhi in the role of an Advisor for the 12th edition of Indian Premier league (IPL) which commence from March 23.
With immense experience Ganguly may change Delhi team’s fortunes for the upcoming IPL. Already Delhi Capitals has Ricky Ponting as Head Coach, and now with Sourav Ganguly coming on to the board, both former players who are most successful captains in the history of the game may help the team to get best out of them.
Welcoming Former Indian Skipper, Delhi Capitals tweeted, “Tigers, say hello to our Royal Bengal Tiger! We're delighted to welcome @SGanguly99 to Delhi Capitals, in the role of an Advisor.”

“I am very pleased to come on board with the Delhi Capitals,” Ganguly said.
“Having known the Jindals and the JSW Group for years, I am now excited to be a part of their latest sports venture. I am really looking forward to working with the players and the support staff,” he added.
Delhi Capitals chairman Parth Jindal said, “Sourav is one of the most astute minds in world cricket. A lot of what we see in Indian cricket today was born because of Sourav.
