'We're the Millers' star Jennifer Aniston has been sued by a contractor for not being able to pay for a $43,710 deck that was briefly put up for a celebration outside her Bel Air mansion.
The court documents filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court states that construction company J.R. Darnall Associates Inc. was called in to do some “major renovation at the actress' property in October 2012 and worked on several projects at the house until March 2013.”
“The contractor claims there was never any problem with the work or payment until Aniston asked for a deck for a party at the house on March 24, which was completed in time. However, the day after the party, the contractor says he was informed that the deck was leaking. The company offered to send an expert to evaluate the damage, but the actress had the deck removed before an inspection could take place,” reveals the report.
It claims that Aniston then didn't communicate further and even refused to shell out any money.
Aniston was unavailable for a comment.
