Almost the whole of Hollywood seems to be clamoring for acquiring the movie rights for JK Rowling's mystery novel - “The Cuckoo Calling”, published under the pseudonym of Robert Galbraith. And Warner Bros seems to lead the pack.
And why not? After all, it was them who made the multimillion-dollar Harry Potter series of movies
Rowling's mystery novel raced to No 1 slot in the UK hardback fiction charts last week after her lawyer's friend revealed that Robert Galbraith was none other than Rowling herself, the writer of the famous Harry Potter series.
The book sold 17,662 copies in seven days after the revelation.
With the book breaking all records, we are to just wait and see who gets to adapt the film in to celluloid first.
