Despite realizing the ill-effects of using smartphones excessively, people aren’t paying any heed. Statistics suggest that the number of people using smartphone growing from 2.1 billion in 2016 to around 2.5 billion in 2019.
A new study suggests that apart from smartphone affecting the posture and mental health of people, "bone spurs that resemble 'horns' are growing on human skulls because of using smartphones to a fault.
A recent report from BBC shows possible future impacts of technology on the human skeleton says that humans are growing a horn-like structure on their skulls because of excessive usage of mobile phones. The Spurs are a result of pressure exerted on the neck and spine when looking down at a smartphone, as per researchers. "The bump is a sign of sustained terrible posture, which can be corrected quite simply,” Dr. Mark Sayers said in a statement to 9 News.

The Spurs are actually a subject of worry because it will be a big evolutional change in human skeletal structure.
Mobile phone use has been linked to various health issues one of the biggest of them all is a brain tumor. A large number of studies have conducted, assessing the potential health risks of mobile phones say that there is more to fear from smartphones than you think. Some of them point to a higher risk of developing brain cancer, especially on the side of the head where the phone has been pressed against.
However, these studies have failed to report an overall increase of cancer or lower risk of tumors on the other side of the head.
