Who does not love a spotless house? But, yes you may not like to spend bulk of your time in house cleaning. Let us help you with few methods that can make your job a bit easier and less time consuming.

1. Start cleaning from top to bottom so that any dust or scrap that fall on the floor would be picked and the end. This is the best way to save your time. Pick right broom according to the floor to make your job easy and effective.

2. Begin to clean your kitchen in a way that you end with the stove, as it is generally the dirtiest part of the kitchen and you do not have to spread the dirt and grease to the remaining areas. Always sanitize your sink. Your dirty sink has more bacteria than your toilet seat! Keep your oven clean. Never forget to disinfect your sponge every night by squeezing it and microwaving on high. If you find it smelly, replace it with another one.

3. Rub your glass shower doors with a tea spoon of lemon once in two weeks to allow the water to roll off. Use citric acid for your toilets as it is nontoxic and acts as a scrub. Leave it for few minutes and then flush. Keep your drains free of hair and clogs.

4. Finish the job of making your bed neat soon after you get up in the morning. Get rid of clothes you have not worn for a year and do your laundry every week. Keep your essentials like moisturizer, lamp, clock, tissues next to your bed.

5. Time your work so that it will not get hectic and long for you to spend on cleaning. Use a storage container to dump lost things so that when you need them you will know where to look first.

Finally, best thing to do daily is to do a quick rescue. Do 5 minute sweep through each room and take a laundry basket with you. Place in it anything that does not belong to that room. This way your work is half done even on a busy day!
