Have you entered into your thirties? Believe me, it is one of the best phases of your life. It is more fun with maturity. But yes, it is real time that you concentrate on your skin and take necessary care, especially if you have not taken regular skin care earlier.

Most women in 30s have their babies, which mean skin shows post-delivery skin symptoms like uneven skin, pigmentation, and dark circles. ‘Skin care’ may sound big, but it is simple. It is all about following basics and ensuring that your skin is well nourished all the time.

Follow basics
This is very important. You probably have ignored basics like cleansing, toning and moisturizing in your younger days. But it is now time to follow this routine to help you in keeping skin away from accumulated dirt and grime. You skin will look healthy and fresh all the time.

Ingredients are the key
When to pick up natural or cosmetics for skin look out for ingredients like vitamin C, anti-oxidants, glycolic and hyaluronic acids. These prevent premature ageing and severe dryness. Eventually your skin looks youthful and radiant.

It’s all in diet
Ensure that your diet includes lots of fruits and vegetables. Salads of fruits and vegetables will help your body avoid toxins and will help attain healthy skin. Importantly Vitamin C and Vitamin E helps in keeping your skin strong and maintaining elasticity.

Facials and face masks
One of the great ways that help to keep your skin radiant is facial. Take time out of your hectic schedule and get a facial done once in a month. It will definitely do wonders on your skin. You can feel the dramatic change. Coming to face marks, homemade face masks are enough to keep your skin healthy and happy. For instance, apply some yogurt on your face and neck and leave it for 15 minutes. You may add honey. Wash off with Luke warm water.

Exercise and water
A 30-minute walk or gym is all you need to maintain your overall health, including skin health. If you indulge in regular exercise, blood cells get nourished, eventually helps in flushing out waste from skin. Also regular exercise reduces stress that prevents acne. All of know the good benefits of water on skin. Drink at least 8 to 10 glasses of water daily.

Important creams
Night creams are essential as they hydrate the skin and nourishes as you sleep. Investing on good eye cream is also a good idea as 30’s is the age when wrinkles and fine lines begin to appear around your eyes. Use a body lotion all over your body for skin all over. Sunscreen is needed at any age. Don’t step out without it. Sunscreen with SPF of 30 or more is ideal for women above 30.
