To help you battle your monsoon-mane blues, we bring you a slew of expert tips by well know hair care and beauty expert Bridgette Jones. Take note.
- One of the best ways to keep your tresses trouble free is to wash them frequently. During monsoons, up the number of times you shampoo your hair. If you shampoo twice a week, increase it to three.
- Never mind how much you enjoy getting drenched in the rain, make sure to hit the shower as soon as you reach home. That is because rain water contains several atmospheric impurities that can clog hair pores and frizz them out.
- Carry a handtowel in your bag and dry off your mane as soon as it gets wet. Also, don't tie your hair before it's fully dry as tied wet hair tend to give off a foul damp stench.
- Indulge in hair spa treatments more often. Go for hair masks and oil therapies. That will keep you mane lustrous and healthy.
Apart from hair care, exercise everyday and avoid all kinds of unhealthy bingeing. Your hair will thank you for it.
