The coronavirus pandemic shattered the entire globe and crores of families are impacted because of the deadly virus. Lakhs of people lost their lives and India stands as the second most impacted country due to coronavirus due to the huge density of population. The cases of coronavirus have come down gradually but the new cases are reported all over the country. Tamil and Telugu actor Suriya is the latest one to be tested positive for coronavirus. The actor himself took his social media page to inform that he is contracted with coronavirus recently.

He said that he is doing fine and he thanked the expert team of doctors and health officials for taking special care. Suriya also warned the people that the pandemic is yet to be completed and he asked everyone to be cautious and careful. Suriya recently completed the shoot of his first web series Navasara that is produced by Mani Rathnam and Netflix jointly. Gautam Menon directed the episode featuring Suriya. The actor is on a break and is yet to commence the shoot of his next film that will be directed by Pandiraj. The shoot of the film is planned to commence from the mid of February. The shoot is kept on hold as of now and it will be pushed to March this year. Suriya's last movie Soorarai Pottru is a smashing hit and received wide appreciation from the audience.
