That too when it comes to mythological films like Ramayana and Mahabharat, North wanted South actors to play key roles. Like Prabhas for Lord Ram's role and Yash for Ravana's role in Ranbir Kapoor's Ramayana. Allu Arjun is also planning for a bang. He is in talks for the Ashwathama titular film. Now the latest buzz is that Tamil actor Suriya is making his debut in Bollywood with the mythological character ‘Karna’.
Karna is the mythological character of Mahabharata. Karna was a dream project for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. Earlier Yash was in talks to play the lead role, but somehow the talks dint work out. Suirya has been finalized for this two-part epic. Karna filmmakers planning to take the film on floors by 2024. Suriya before starting this film, needs to finish Sudha Kongara’s Kanguva.
