The latest to join the bandwagon of the highly paid heroines in the Tollywood is Tamanna, grapevine says. Tamanna, also known as Tammu to her vivid fans, is of course busy in both Tamil and Telugu.

 

As both Kollywood and Tollywood are running after her repeatedly, she has started demanding more than Rs.1 Cr towards her remuneration for enacting leading lady roles in any movie, be it Telugu or Tamil.

 

After crossing the figure of Rs. 1 Cr long back, she has now entered the range of Rs.1.25 Cr to Rs.1.50 Cr as remuneration per a movie. But what is surprising is that she had established a record of sorts by claiming a remuneration of Rs. 1 lakh per minute for giving stage performances.

 

Tammu, who looks like a perfect figure carved out of a metal called beauty, has charged Rs.3 lakh for giving a 3-minute performance on stage during the recent music launching function of her latest movie ‘100 per cent love’ in which she played one of the female lead roles against hero Naga Chaitanya.

 

This is the rate she charged for performing on stage in connection with a film in which she acted and at this rate you can’t imagine the amount she charges for other stage performances that may not be connected with her films.
