Raw banana bajji is famous in South Indian streets. It is also called as Aratikaya bajji in Telugu. The dish is crispy and yummy. It can be prepared on special occasions. It is the best snack item to feed your kids in the evenings.

Ingredients:
Raw bananas - 2(peeled)
Besan flour - 1cup
Rice flour- 1/4 cup
Oil- required for deep frying
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Onions -1 big(chopped)
Green mirchi - 5
Turmeric- 1/2 tsp
Red chilli powder - 2 tsps
Salt - required
Water- required
Ajwain - 1/4 tsp
Soda - 1/8 tsp
Coriander - 1/2 bunch
Lemon juice - Required
Procedure:
1. Firstly, blend onions, green mirchi and ginger garlic paste and keep aside.
2. Now take a bowl with besan flour, rice flour, blended paste, turmeric, red chilli powder, soda, salt and water.
3. Mix it well to form a thick batter and keep it aside.
4. Later, place the frying pan with oil on a medium flame.
5. Now peel the bananas and chop into medium pieces and then place the pieces in water.
6. After oil gets heated, take each piece of banana, dip in the batter and allow for deep frying.
7. Fry until the pieces turn to golden brown.
8. Now garnish with onions, coriander and sprinkle lemon juice on the slices and the snack is ready to serve.
