According to Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals in Kolkata, where Chakraborty was admitted on Saturday, the BJP leader has been eating a soft diet and will be discharged soon. The hospital spokesperson mentioned that Chakraborty is recovering well and is fully conscious, alert, and active. He has also undergone some tests and will undergo further investigations before being discharged. Chakraborty, who complained of severe chest pain, was admitted to the hospital and has since been transferred from the ICU to a cabin for continued care. The hospital has diagnosed him with a stroke in the brain. Chakraborty, a renowned actor who has received the Padma Bhushan award, has appeared in numerous films in various languages.
