Story
The story centres around Akhil (played by Akshay Kumar), who is living in poverty. Akhil gets to know that his real father is Bangkok’s diamond merchant Panna Lal Johri (Dalip Tahil). So he goes to Bangkok, he discovers that his father is already dead and has left his 3000 crore worth property to Entertainment (Junior the dog). And the tussle begins between Akhil and Entertainment over the property.
Analysis :
The film is anything but Entertainment, which is the name of a dog. Can you imagine – who names his pet with such a long name. Leave your brain behind when you go for this movie. You must not question as to how Entertainment, a dog, inherits a billion dollar property. However, Junior seems to be the most sensible character of the whole lot on screen.
The story is fairly decent but the dialogues are attrocious. The first half hour is enjoyable, but after that it's a painful exercise. Even Akshay Kumar and the cute retriever could not do justice to the film. There is nothing positive about this movie, except the cute dog.
Performance :
Akshay Kumar seems to have done this film to favour friends. Why else someone of his calibre do a film with a script like this? Akki is good at dry humor but in this film he sleepwalks. Even in action scenes Akshay looked morose.
Tamannaah is an improvement Himmatwala and Humshakals. But the lady needs to find better roles to show her acting skill, instead of just looking pretty.
Mithun Chakraborty was totally wasted in this film. He has the potential for better roles. He was so much fun in Kick, where he danced with Salman Khan.
Sonu Sood, who was brilliant as Dabangg’s villain, had nothing much to do in this film. Even Johnny Lever was completely wasted in Entertainment.
Final Word:
Avoid Entertainment if you want to watch a movie to relieve boredom.
