Allu Arjun's Pushpa has been through a lot of hurdles because of the delay in the shoot and the post-production work. The delay also had an impact on the promotional activities of the film. Pushpa is yet to complete the censor formalities in Hindi and the Hindi release may be delayed by a day. This is a huge blow for the film for now. The film will head for censor today and it will take a couple of days for the formalities to be wrapped up. There are talks that Pushpa may release on Saturday across the North Indian circuits.
In USA, Pushpa will have its release in Telugu alone. The film will release in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages next week. This is due to the unavailability of theatres due to Spider-Man: No Way Home. Considering the situation, Pushpa (other versions apart from Telugu) will struggle for release. Allu Arjun took the promotional responsibility as it was the actor's decision to head for a release though the film was not ready on time. Sukumar worked hard to complete the work in a hurry.
The pre-release sales for the Telugu version are exceptional. But when you are releasing a film in other languages, there should be proper planning and a promotional plan which was a misfire in the case of Pushpa. An update on the Hindi release of Pushpa is expected by today evening. Sukumar directed Pushpa and Mythri Movie Makers are the producers.
