Almost 12 years after the release of the action-comedy Son of Sardar, Ajay Devgn will return for the sequel, sparking curiosity about the cast. According to reports, Sanjay Dutt has actually signed a sequel titled 'Son of Sardar 2'. However, there is a crucial twist: the film will not be a continuation of the original story, but an entirely new one. “The sequel is a new story,” said a source. “It will not pick up where the original film left off.” Sources say that while the story is new, the actors will retain their roles: Ajay Devgan, who plays Jasinder “Jasi” Singh Randhawa, and Sanjay Dutt, who plays Balwinder “Bill” Singh Sandhu, I’m sure it’s very delicate . Aurora has planned a 50-day filming schedule in Scotland and filming for the action comedy is set to begin at the end of July. The choice of location is very interesting. Scotland boasts stunning landscapes such as castles, historic towns, lakes and beaches and has served as a backdrop for famous films such as Game of Thrones and the Harry Potter series. The source revealed: "The directing team did a tour earlier this year and some of the beautiful locations included the towns of Glencoe and Glenfinnan as well as Carlos Palace, Preston Mill and Falkland Palace." The source added that some romantic songs featuring Devgn and actress Mrunal Thakur will also be shot in Scotland.
