Ram Charan seems to be on a roll with his career as he gears up for his 16th film, which was recently launched in Hyderabad. The film will feature Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead and will be directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The project is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers, known for their hit films like Pushpa and Rangasthalam. Excitingly, the news has come out that veteran actor Sanjay Dutt has been roped in to play the main villain in this film. Buchi Babu Sana recently met with Sanjay Dutt in Mumbai, where he narrated the role to him. Sanjay Dutt was reportedly impressed with the character and has given his approval for the project. The official announcement of Sanjay Dutt's involvement is set to be made on March 27, 2024, which also happens to be Ram Charan's birthday. The first-look poster of the film will be unveiled at the same time.
It's worth noting that Sanjay Dutt will also be playing a villain in another Telugu film, Double Ismart, starring Ram Pothineni and directed by Puri Jagan. As for RC16, it is described as a sports drama with a period backdrop. Buchi Babu Sana is in the process of finalizing the rest of the cast, with plans to reveal more details soon. The shooting is scheduled to commence in April 2024 in Hyderabad, with special sets being prepared for the film.
