Sachin Tendulkar, is set to play title role in a feature film on his life. He has written his autobiography with the title 'Playing it my Way' and revealed his opinions on the sports and cricket life. London-based writer James Erskine, who is specialized in sports related works, will direct this movie.
The production company '200 Not Out' based in Mumbai has bagged the rights from ‘World Sport Group’, which manages Sachin’s brand and commercial activities across the world. The group is reportedly approaching all the cricket boards for using the real-footages and clippings in the feature film.
The feature film on Sachin Tendulkar’s life is set to cover the unexplored aspects of his life. From his childhood days in Mumbai's suburbs, his marriage with Anjali, and his family details will be screened according to the media reports
The cricket legend’s movie is reportedly planning to shoot in the real places associated with his life events and memories. Sachin Tendulkar’s popularity will benefit the producers a lot. It is going to be a festival season in India during his film release surly. Sachin Tendulkar was conferred India’s highest civilian award ‘Bharat Ratna’ on 4th February of 2014.
