The Tempe Police Department has confirmed that shots were fired into Kamala Harris' campaign office in Arizona. The bullets were fired by someone after midnight, and the damage was discovered at the Democratic National Committee campaign office near Southern Avenue and Priest Drive in Tempe. No one was inside the office at the time, but this has raised concerns about the safety of those who work in the building and nearby. Detectives are analyzing the evidence, and additional security measures have been taken in the area for the staff and others. This is the second time criminal damage has been reported at the office, as the front windows were previously shot with a BB gun or pellet gun on September 16. No arrests have been made yet, and all possible motives are being investigated by the authorities. This incident comes shortly after a second assassination attempt on Donald Trump.

A 58-year-old person from Hawaii named Ryan Routh was taken into custody after the Secret Service spotted him hiding at Trump National Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, with an AK-47, a GoPro camera, and other items. Former President Trump was playing golf at the same location. Routh fled in a car after the Secret Service fired at him, and was later arrested. A few days earlier, Trump narrowly escaped an assassination attempt at his Pennsylvania rally. Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, opened fire at the rally, injuring Trump and two others, and killing a firefighter named Corey Comperatore. Crooks was eventually killed by snipers.
