Rejani Raveendran, a 40-year Indian-born college student has announced her bid for the senate race in the US state of Wisconsin. She is the first Republican to take off. She will officially contest against Democratic Senator Tammy Baldwin.

University of Wisconsin Stevens Point College launched a campaign run on Tuesday against 61-year-old Baldwin in portage county and Rejani took the lead in this. Rejani Raveendran has joined politics recently and she is planning to graduate with a bachelor's degree in political science next year.

She recently interacted with the media and said the country needs new faces and new ideas. She also said we need to change this political system and get polished politicians. Raveendran is mostly focused on illicit drugs like fentanyl, illegal immigration, securing borders and medical freedom. She is also against the mandatory vaccine system.
